During Carers Week EfC held its members' networking event at the Royal Society in London which was attended by 70 employers and invited guests. Speakers included representatives from British Gas, Sainsbury's, Listawood, the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Department of Health.

During the week, Carers UK and Employers for Carers staff also participated in a variety of workplace events hosted by O2, Credit Suisse, Transport for London, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the London Fire Brigade.
