About our events
Employers for Carers hosts complimentary Networking Events for member organisations - read about recent events here.The purpose of these events is to provide employers with the opportunity to:
- network with other employers
- share good practice
- discuss any ongoing challenges and opportunities in a relaxed and informal setting
- receive timely updates on topical issues
What future events are planned?
The next Members’ Networking Event will be hosted by the Metropolitan Police on 14 October 2010 from 4 for 4.30 to 7 pm at their headquarters in London. This event will combine networking with an update on latest news from the new Coalition Government about its agenda to support carers in, and into, work. Further details will be sent to members shortly.
Future events being planned also include a larger scale event which will focus on implementation of the Equality Act, including a mock tribunal, and sector specific events. We will be forwarding details to members in due course.
